and yes, we are very sinful. we judge others when we ourselves are worthy of judgment. and this makes me angry.
but i won't run away. i won't give up on us .
i will pray for change.

Neither you nor I am a whore. The church of Christ is His body and why would His body be called a whore?
Let me see...lyrics by John Mayer? Which starlet is he dating today? Now theres a "whore".
Can Mr.Mayer become part of the body of Christ and give up "whoredom?" Certainly!
Then let's use this blog to minister to him and countless others like him.
Is this blog still about Jesus Christ?

my thoughts are mostly wrong, and i'm working on them.
i will continue to write them down anyhow, as this blog is about writing down what's going on in the space between my mind, whether they be great or not so great. I do enjoy your comments, they do much to remind me of how wrong I usually am about things, and how, at times , I am right. Thanks for sharing.

I understand that Miss Ana Yanez has "come to the rescue" of Noel after I very lightly rebuked him.
Miss Yanez, don't you understand that the Word of God is the ultimate answer and that our emotions will NOT help our brethren grow?
Proverbs 25:12 reads; "As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover unto an obedient ear." There are countless other scriptures that teach us to receive correction and by that we will grow.
If we continue to use our own human love by petting the error of someone's ways, we are saying to God that He does not know how to love.
Yes indeed, Love Himself doesn't know how to love when His Word reads in Hebrews 12:6; "Whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son that He receiveth." And since He really doesn't know how to love I will help Him along and come to the rescue of a brother that is scripturally wrong. That type of mentality has most of the church growth stagnant and still drinking milk after many years in Christianity.
We have a seven month old baby girl named Victoria. What a shame to see her drinking formula for years to come. It would be rather embarrassing. It's time to eat some meat,and to do so the body of Christ, not unlike Victoria, M-U-S-T grow!
Youmay be thinking; No brother Mario, I will come against the Creator of the universe and in my own "creativity" help that brother reach maturity.
Am I being mean? Or does the Bible read in 1 Corinthians 13:6 that love rejoices not in iniquity?
Should I allow my beloved Victoria to play with the electric socket because I love her? Or should I intercede and not allow her to harm herself?
Most brethren fail to understand that to know love,we must understand what love isn't. That's what the Love Chapter of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 teaches. It teaches what love ISN'T to understand what love is.
I always seem to come back to the same question, and I cannot get the right answer. Are the leaders teaching the Body of Christ wrong? Are the churches more interested in garnishing our finances than embellishing our spiritual growth? (Now there is a tremendous play on words. Garnish and embellish both mean the same thing...to adorn,ornament, beautify and enhance. But Garnish also means in slang a fee demanded of a new worker or convict by his boss, warden or fellow workers or prisoners. The Holy Ghost is awesome isn't He?)
I had a beloved brother mention to me that all you see in his churches' parking lot is brand new cars. He was proud of that fact. Wow, I imagine that Lot had some fancy chariots in his driveway in Sodom and Gomorrah. (Or whatever they drove back then? lol)
Does a parking lot full of late model sedans and SUV's, the latest Gucci purses or ornaments of silver and gold show us that they are God's people? If so then I can introduce you to some drug lords who must be extremely spiritual!
No, my beloved, God's Word is simple...a tree is known by it's fruit.
And how does a tree give fruit?
John 15:1 says it must be hooked up to the True Vine...Jesus Christ!
The Lord Jesus goes on to say in verse 2 that every branch that gives fruit is purged to bring forth more fruit. And verse 8 of that same chapter reads; "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."
Much fruit?
How do I yield "much" fruit if I cannot be purged to yield "more" fruit?
My prayer is that God continues to purge us daily with His Word so we can glorify our Father in heaven and be called true disciples of Jesus Christ.

Freedom of speech did not come from Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, nor the U.S. Constitution, nor the Magna Carta, etc. etc. Freedom of speech originally came from God. The Creator of all things created a free will and therefore freedom of speech.
This same Creator has left us His Word to spread to those who use this "freedom of speech" to destroy themselves and others.
Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for the freedom of speech that He has given me. I thank the Lord that as I speak His Word...His life filled wisdom...I will be able to make a difference in a world filled with those who wrongfully use their "freedom of speech."
In Matthew 12:36 Jesus Christ Himself says; "I say unto you,that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof on the day of judgement."
I thought this blog was named "ME LAST" in reference to our Lord Jesus Christ placing Himself last so we could be first.I was under the impression that those who wrote on this blog were interested in spreading the life giving Word of God to a dying world. One comment came from a girl who is a self-proclaimed "lover of Jesus."
Is there anything more important, more urgent and also more exciting than telling others about Jesus and how He died to give us eternal life?
So my dear Anonymous, you use your "freedom of speech" the way you want to use it, and I will use my "freedom of speach" to spread the Gospel.
